Professor Dr. Ilona Kickbusch prägte während ihrer langjährigen Tätigkeit bei der Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO) die europäische und internationale Gesundheitspolitik. In Anerkennung ihrer Leistungen wurde sie als Professorin an die Yale University berufen und zur Leiterin eines Fulbright Programms ernannt.
